Food, drink, music, crafts, plus a big screen – and it’s all FREE
THIS is a big year, with the Queen’s diamond jubilee and the Olympics, so let’s celebrate what Dorset has to offer with a festival weekend serving up some of Dorset’s finest food and drink, and celebrating the county’s creativity with makers and musicians.
Dorset 2012 Festival will be at Queen Mother’s Square, Poundbury, on the weekend of 4th-5th August, and will combine a farmers and producers market with the additional attractions of live music from local performers, and a large screen to watch the day’s major events.
This will be a great showcase for Poundbury and for Dorset’s food and drink producers, chefs, artists, craftspeople, makers and musicians.
The festival will be on from 10am-11pm on Saturday and 11am-6pm on Sunday and there will be no charge for entry. It’s all about Dorset!
